My ‘Whispers’ Series is a collection of three oil paintings inspired by thoughts, mental health and the whispers of the mind. The chatter between the hard fought for silence moments.

A creative mind is a very full mind. Thoughts swimming wild and free only to be captured on occasion, hopefully harnessed, tamed and then set free once more.

They can be calm and inviting or thrash about painfully as if caught in a net not knowing where to turn.

Through meditation, mindfulness and conscious thought we attempt to understand the noisy moments, and when treated with the respect they deserve, use as a tool for growth and expansion.
